- Taking a look at the trailing edge of the rudder !!!
I was
worried that the angle iron I had used to keep the rudder edge
straight would of stuck to the fin! dont think it would fly
to well with them stuck to it!! We had used some thin
riveting tape to stop the angle iron being in direct contact with
the rudder and this worked a treat. The angle pieces came
off easily, inspection showed a lovely straight rudder..well
for now at least ! So I was keen to get all the holes
cleaned out as you can see from the picture they fill up a bit
with gunge. A bit fiddly and took an hour to clean up.
I then
re-clecoed one angle back on with clean clecoes to let the sealer
set some more.
