28/11/2007 - Taking a look at the trailing edge of the rudder !!!

I was worried that the angle iron I had used to keep the rudder edge straight would of stuck to the fin!  dont think it would fly to well with them stuck to it!!  We had used some thin riveting tape to stop the angle iron being in direct contact with the rudder and this worked a treat.  The angle pieces came off easily,  inspection showed a lovely straight rudder..well for now at least !  So I was keen to get all the holes cleaned out as you can see from the picture they fill up a bit with gunge.  A bit fiddly and took an hour to clean up.

I then re-clecoed one angle back on with clean clecoes to let the sealer set some more.
